Coronavirus and The World

COVID-19 started out as just another disease we thought might’ve been little or unharmful. The world soon learned that the virus was going to cause a lot of trouble for society. While most are fine, those with weak immune systems, usually the really young or really old, are at risk of death. The world had to change, outside activities gradually became less popular, people distance themselves physically from one another and hide their visage behind a mask. Many had to learn to work from home, or if they couldn’t, hope that they could file for unemployment. Which with so many trying to do that, it isn’t really very reliable, and would cause financial problems for many. Businesses have slowed, anything requiring large gatherings such as sports dropped in traffic from being unable to continue their work and give new substance or sessions. We must now rely on the internet more than ever, which is unfortunate for those that are too poor to easily afford such a thing. Classes, work, entertainment, we’re trying to connect as best we can through apps like zoom to see each other, but that’s still far more different than being able to be around friends and family without worry. Unfortunately I believe we must accept for the most part that online activity will be most of how we live our daily lives at the moment, it seems to me that it’s the only way to keep important things such as education and business going, if even at half the efficiency it had before. Honestly in my personal opinion the fear of the virus may be hindering the world more than the actual disease itself at this point. I could be wrong though, however I can only hope that none of this will matter soon and we will make an easily accessible cure so the world can work its way back to running normally again.
