Class in Tech

I feel as though class is not the first issue that would come to mind to people in regards to the technological field, though I am quite sure it is of noticeable importance. For instance, the tech field has quite the tendency to create products that are more than a bit on the expensive side. Now, of course, that could be a perfectly reasonable price for said product, but not everyone has bags of money just laying around their house. That being said, all the shiny new things that come out from certain companies are often the first-come-first-serve thing for people with the deepest pockets. Even if there will be a different line of that type of product later that’s more affordable, people who couldn’t afford the initial product not only had to wait on a cheaper product, but also just have to settle with it not being as good as the original. It is also no secret that tech companies often time just wish to make the most money that they possibly can, this can quite easily influence some of their actions. For example, if wealthy people already buy the company’s products, why should they not simply adhere to only the wishes of future products that the rich wish for? There’s also the workforce, most skills within the tech field require some sort of degree from college, and so that makes it quite difficult for people that wish to work in tech but can’t afford to attend college to do so.
